Wicklander-Zulawski and Associates Inc. was formed May 1, 1982 by Douglas E. Wicklander and David E. Zulawski. The firm specializes in the investigation of internal loss, using interview, investigative, and polygraph techniques. In addition, they conduct loss prevention surveys, pre-employment background investigations and training seminars. The firm is nationally recognized as the "standard of the industry" in conducting seminars on interview and interrogation techniques.

Mr. Zulawski and Mr. Wicklander produced an audio cassette program titled, Interview and Interrogation Techniques. In addition, they served as subject matter experts in the development of a comprehensive computer/interactive video training program titled, The Art of Interviewing. This training program instructs the loss prevention / security professional in the complexities of interview and interrogation techniques. They also co-authored an in-house training program which is utilized by companies to train their own staff, in-house, on interview and interrogation techniques.

Since 1982, Wicklander-Zulawski and Associates, Inc. has trained thousands of individuals on interviewing and interrogation techniques. These seminars include the proper way to obtain legally acceptable confessions and the content and form of a written statement.

Mr. Zulawski and Mr. Wicklander have authored a book titled Practical Aspects of Interview and Interrogation, which is published by CRC Press, Inc. In addition, they have authored numerous articles on the polygraph and interview/interrogation techniques. They have lectured on these topics to professional and civic organizations throughout the country.

Mr. Wicklander and Mr. Zulawski co-authored, with Reid Psychological Systems, the Reid Survey III, a paper and pencil test which can be used for investigation, promotion, or as an organizational assessment tool to evaluate employees within a company or location.
